Neutron Bragg-edge imaging enables visualizing the real-space distribution of crystalline microstructural information of a sample. However, analyzing Bragg-edge spectrum requires specialized knowledges about crystallography and Bragg-edge analysis. So far, therefore, we developed the methodology that estimates microstructural parameters directly without the spectrum fitting analysis. In this study, this methodology was improved to analyze experimental data, considering effects of statistical error and beamline devices. Firstly, effects of statistical error were reduced by linear approximation and spectrum smoothing. Then, transmission spectrum of intermediate-wavelength region was used for microstructure analysis when spectrum measurements of shorter-wavelength region are impossible to use because of beamline devices. Consequently, we confirmed that estimation accuracy with this method for experimental spectra was almost same as that for theoretically calculated spectra.
