In the fire accident at the nuclear power plants, a large amount of particle would be emitted. Due to the particles, the HEPA filter would be clogged, and the pressure drop increase with time. And then, the filter might be damaged and leaks particles. Thus, the prediction method of the pressure drop was required. In this study, a pressure drop model of HEPA filter was performed. The proposed model calculate pressure drop by dividing into two filtration types which are collected inside and on the surface of the filter. The calculated results showed good agreement with the other literature experimental results. Moreover, the pressure drop of the filter was calculated under the various conditions like filter characteristics and particles flow.
