Observation of irreversible structural dynamics is a most challenging subject in materials science wishing to investigate the properties of materials and create new devices. In this research, we aim to develop an innovative single-shot ultrafast electron diffraction (UED) with a temporal resolution of 100 fs using a radio-frequency (RF) acceleration-based electron gun technology. In this meeting, the construction of UED and some demonstrations will be reported.
