Keywords:reactor noise analysis, Dynamic Mode Decomposition, Rossi-α method, prompt neutron decay constant, fundamental mode component

In previous study, it has been confirmed that the application of Dynamic Mode Decomposition (DMD) to the pulsed neutron source method is possible to robustly estimate the fundamental mode component of the prompt neutron decay constant α. To investigate the further applicability of DMD, the present study focused on the Rossi-α method because the measurement histogram of the Rossi-α method can be theoretically expressed by the sum of the exponential mode components. This presentation will report the estimation result of α using the proposed method for the reactor noise measurement experiments carried out at the Kyoto University Critical Assembly (KUCA).
