[1I11-14] Subcriticality Measurement

Wed. Sep 8, 2021 3:55 PM - 5:05 PM Room I

chair: Kunihiro Nakajima (Kindai Univ.)

4:40 PM - 4:55 PM

[1I14] Investigation of numerical analysis of the prompt-neutron decay constant of a subcritical reactor

*Motoyuki Nakajima1, Willem van Rooijen1 (1. Univ. of Fukui)

Keywords:Pulsed Neutron Source Method, Time-dependent transport theory, KUCA, Prompt-neutron decay constant

With the multi-group neutron transport code PARTISN a time-dependent numerical analysis of critical assemblies like the Kyoto University Critical Assembly (KUCA) is performed to determine the spatial dependence of the detector signal for the measurement of the prompt-neutron decay constant
