It is desirable for many people to think of the problem of disposal of high-level radioactive waste (so-called nuclear waste) as their own. We think it is effective to take the process to make “other people's affairs” to “personal”, and furthermore to “personal for all” to share this problem widely and find clues to solve it. We call this process “becoming OURS”- in Japanese “Ours-ka”. This presentation will discuss the effects of creating the shared story of this problem, picture books, and manga as one of the concrete steps for that purpose.
