Transient responses for the enrichment process of lithium isotopes by displacement chromatography were numerically analyzed for the production of blanket material. Because feed and extraction of lithium solutions are operated at intervals in this process, the separative performances are directly depend on the conditions such as feed-extraction ratio and enrichment-depleted ratio. With typical conditions of band length and developing rate the enrichment process was numerically simulated by changing the enrichment fraction as parameter. An optimum value of enrichment fraction was obtained in order to maximize the separative power.
