The concept of enhanced aerosol and mist analysis models are studied for the application of FATE code to severe accident analysis of fuel replocessing plant. The target scenarios of this application are "boiling and drying accident" and "Hydrogen explosion". In this study, current correlation based aerosol model in FATE is planed to improve to treat particle diameter distribution explicitly. The generation, growth, and evaporation of mist that includes nitric acid and water is also treated in this enhanced aerosol model.
