[2B09] Estimation of Performance of Type-A and Type-X Zeolite on Volatile Ruthenium Removal

The volatile ruthenium is the most harmful material in the HLLW dry-out accident of the reprocessing facility, and volatile ruthenium removal by zeolite has the potential for the passive safety measure for the dry-out. The performance of some type-A and type-X zeolite on the volatile ruthenium removal was estimated by TG-DTA coupled with QMS and FT-IR in this study. As the result, Type-X zeolite had better performance than type-A.
