[2C08] Generation and migration of hydrogen gas in bentonite by using electrochemical method

In this experiment, we focused on the migration behavior of hydrogen gas generated by overpack corrosion through bentonite. Electrochemical method was applied to generate and introduce hydrogen gas into bentonite. Observation of hydrogen gas in bentonite was done by using X-ray CT analysis. Hydrogen gas bubbles gathered and made cracks then migrated heterogeneously in bentonites.
