Powder adhesion prevention technology by surface micro-fabrication on stainless steel which is a component of glove box (G.B.) has been developed to reduce the retention of the uranium-plutonium mixed oxide (MOX) powder in the G.B. and the external radiation dose in the MOX fuel fabrication process. In this study, the adhesion force of stainless steel with surface micro-fabrication was measured by colloid probe AFM method, and the powder adhesion prevention effect was evaluated.
