A eutectic fusion of boron carbide (B4C) and stainless steel (SS) has been studied to simulate the eutectic molting behavior between control bar stocks and nuclear reactor structure materials in the core damage accident of the sodium cooling fast reactor. The paper address reaction products and their distribution of the eutectic melting of B4C-SS and FeB-SS with three- dimensions Raman spectroscopy.
