In the previous study, we evaluated the inter-period correlation of the response spectrum at a specific site when a specific earthquake occurred using strong ground motion simulation (SGMS). In this study, we evaluate the effectiveness of seismic diversity quantitatively using inter-period correlation based on SGMS. In addition, we compare these with the effectiveness of seismic diversity using the empirical inter-period correlation based on various seismic observation records and examine the influence of inter-period correlation on effectiveness of seismic diversity.
