The safety evaluation method for the equipment of nuclear facilities was developed. This method was based on the aging risk evaluation flow, and considered the two factors of the magnitude of the impact of equipment when a failure occurs and the change in the probability of failure due to aging.
Regarding the impact of equipment when a failure occurs, the confinement function, stable operation, and repair implementation time are classified according to the degree of impact. Risk points are calculated by multiplying these impact levels.
In this study, risk points were calculated with reference to past cases, and it was obtained that they could be used in actual equipment.
