Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) are expected to be next-generation power sources, and in-core and ex-core instruments will be adopted for their monitor systems. However, the monitor systems should use only the ex-core ones in terms of maintenance-ability and long-term reliability. We are developing a reconstruction method to estimate a fuel output distribution using only ex-core instruments. The reconstruction method considered only first-generation neutrons produced by fission. We evaluated the effects of the neutron generation for the reconstruction performance. In this talk, we will show and discuss the results.
