Keywords:Actinides, Lanthanides, fluorite-structure oxides

Direct oxide formation from distillation using flame-retardant low-evaporation heat diluents was investigated from the viewpoint of stable storage of minor actinides (MAs) separated by solvent extraction as exothermic oxide solid solutions for a period of several decades. A new synthesis method of uranium dioxide matrix with fluorite structure as a stable oxide solid and a study on the solid solution method of rare earths are reported.
