Flux effects are directly related to the behaviors of point defects, which are difficult to be observed experimentally. And flux effects are connected to almost all the factors in irradiation, making it more complicated to analyze. In this study, we used combined irradiation method to differentiate the nucleation, growth and shrinkage of dislocation loops at different irradiation fluxes, and tracked the evolution of those loops to reflect the behaviors of point defects. The composition of Si was tuned in the stainless steel, because Si can largely alter the diffusion behaviors of interstitials and vacancies. The long-range diffusion of interstitials was observed when flux was low; however, such long-range diffusion may have been partly cancelled out by the addition of Si.
