Ac-225 is a candidate nuclide for targeted alpha therapy (TAT). However, its radiopharmaceutical development has been prevented by insufficient supplies of Ac-225. We are developing a Ac-225 production method using an electron linear accelerator via Ra-226(γ, n)Ra-225 reaction, which has the advantages of producing no additional Ac isotopes. We performed a large-scale production experiment, using 50MBq of Ra-226 as a starting material. In this presentation, we report on the purification process and quantitative evaluation of Ac-225.
