[3J12] Evaluation of effects of non-condensable gas injection on circulation capability of two-phase natural circulation loop.

Keywords:Isolation condenser, Non-condensable gas, Natural circulation flow

Experiments simulating isolation condenser were conducted, where non-condensable gas, helium was injected into an experimental loop. We evaluated effects of helium on the driving force of the natural circulation loop. The water level difference between the cold leg and the hot leg decreased by injecting helium, indicating reduction of the natural circulation capability.
