[3K13] Conceptual design of rotational fuel shuffling sodium cooled Breed-and-Burn fast reactor

The design study of sodium cooled Breed-and-Burn reactor with rotational fuel shuffling was performed. The core design is based on the S-PRISM. The metallic fuel is used in the core. The fuel assemblies are shuffled continuously from the edge of the core to the edge through the core center. Melt-refining process was applied for the fuels whose dpa becomes 200 during the irradiation. It became clear that the equilibrium condition of Bree-and-Burn was possible with keeping the limitation of the dpa by the proper shuffling interval.
