A new research reactor will be installed in the "Monju"site. The reactor will be a medium-power one whose main purpose is focused on neutron beam applications, which can be used various purposes from basic science to industrial applications. At the exhibition, the status of research reactor concept, utilization and operation designed by JAEA, Kyoto University, and University of Fukui, under consignment contract by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, will be introduced.
