In order to improve the FATE code, model to calculate precipitation rate from highly active liquid waste is developed. When the boiling and drying accidentt is occured, sludge precipitates from highly active liquid waste with chemical reactions such as NOx generation. The model is to calculate the precipitation rate. The model development enables to evaluate the effect of precipitation on the amount of non-volatile FP released to gas phase by entrainment.
