[1E05] Development of novel nuclear fuel materials with high thermal conductivity by materials informatics

In this study, a high-density single-phase UFe3B2 sample was synthesized by arc melting and spark plasma sintering. UFe3B2 is one of the uranium compounds which were predicted to have high thermal conductivity by machine learning. Temperature dependence of thermal conductivity of UFe3B2 was evaluated by laser flash method and compared with predicted temperature dependence by machine learning.
