To analyze the micro structure of oxide melts, it's necessary to maintain a sample up to 3000 K and take XAFS spectra. In this study, we developed a method to heat tungsten substrates by electric current and confirmed that high-temperature XAFS measurements are possible at the synchrotron radiation experimental facility at SPring-8.
