(9) Current Status of Radiation Monitoring by KURAMA-II

The development and application of monitoring techniques based on the GPS-based radiation monitoring system, KURAMA-II, will be introduced. In particular, the current status of the utilization of robots to visualize soil contamination by radioactive materials at specific restoration sites and the development of MPPC-based scintillation detectors for the application of KURAMA-II in fixed and portable monitoring posts will be introduced.
