[1M09] Recent development of the PHITS code

PHITS, a general-purpose radiation behavior analysis code developed by JAEA, has been used not only in the atomic energy field but also in a wide range of fields such as science, engineering, and medicine. We released the latest version of PHITS in March 2022. This version of PHITS includes many improvements such as a new track structure mode for nano-scale analysis on arbitrary ions and target materials and a new function to use nuclear data libraries for deuterons, alphas, and photons. In this presentation, we will report on the recent development including these improvements.
