Thermoluminescence, which is emitted when electrons trapped in a trap level by exposure to radiation are heated, has been used as a detector of integrated radiation dose. However, it has been difficult to study the emission mechanism of thermoluminescence in detail with the current measurement method, in which the total amount of thermoluminescence is measured with a photomultiplier tube. In this study, we developed a system that can continuously measure the spectrum of a sample as it heats up by combining a CCD spectrometer and a sample heating device. By using this system, it is possible to observe changes in thermoluminescence spectra during the heating process and to analyze the luminescence mechanism in systems containing multiple trap levels.
