Reactions between Pu(IV) and double-head 2-pyrrolidon derivatives (DHNRP) in HNO₃(aq) afforded pale-green crystals of (HDHNRP)₂[Pu(NO₃)₆]. The crystal structures and solubility of these Pu(IV) deposits are quite similar to those of the actinide(IV) analogues we reported previously.
