For the decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, the development of highly efficient separation and analysis methods of alpha-emitting nuclides having a high risk of internal radiation exposure has become a crucial issue. Therefore, this study aims to construct a novel microanalysis device consisting of micro solvent extraction coupled to mass spectrometry for alpha-nuclides, and evaluate the performance. An aqueous phase containing alpha-nuclides and an oil phase containing extractants were mixed in a T-shaped microchannel to form an oil-water micro-plug flow, and rapid and efficient extraction of alpha-nuclides was performed. The separated sample was measured by ICP-MS spectrometry. Based on the results, the separation and analysis performance was evaluated in terms of acidic concentration, retention time dependence, etc.
