Towards realization of hydrogen society, large-scale, low-cost, carbon-free hydrogen production technology is crutial. The use of extremely high temperature heat sources such as high temperature gas-cooled reactor have large potential to enables stable, large-scale, carbon-free hydrogen production. The presentation reports overview of the Large-scale Hydrogen Production Demonstration Project utilizing Very High Temperature.
