NuScale VOYGR^TM is an innovative reactor developed by NuScale Power in the U.S. that utilizes proven light water reactor technology while reducing size and simplifying the design. IHI is proceeding with business development by cooperating in engineering and manufacturing technologies for the NuScale Power Module, which is an integrated design, and the reactor building, which uses a steel plate concrete structure, under the NEXIP initiative. In this study, the current status and future plans for engineering and manufacturing technology study for the development of VOYGR^TM is reported.
