By utilizing AI automatic design system (cf. reference article(5)), it is possible to design routes of piping, air conditioning duct and cable tray in the 3D-CAD data, which models real power plant. Then, its system automatically design multiple routes which are main and branch lines from equipment to equipment or from room to room. However the previous layout design needs to spend huge time and human resorces, its new system enables to shorten engineering schedule and reduce engineering cost, drastically. As to system development phase at present, it is possible to suggest shortest routes which quantities of long items are minimum as a whole, as well as complying with basic layout rules. In the conference, we report the application result of AI automatic design system for real plant by showing several examples.
