In the previous meeting, it was considered to utilize an existing similar program for making a program calculating “method for estimating most probable power distribution in BWRs by least squares method using in-core measurements”, to make use of the advanced nodal method (ANM) for solving the three-dimensional and two-group diffusion equation and to clear relevance between ANM and the nodal method. This time it shall be considered about the applicable conditions and the validation about the solution method of the three-dimensional and two-group diffusion equation by ANM, matrix elements, solution characteristics and numerical solution of nodal characteristic equation, etc.
