[1F15] Development of nuclear plant operation technology for next-generation power networks

In order to realize a decarbonized society and stable power supply that are expected in the future, it is essential to build a "next-generation power network in which renewable energy and nuclear power coexist". Nuclear power generation is required to have an output adjustment function for absorb and mitigate output fluctuations of renewable energy power generation. In this presentation, we will report the results of planning an operation control method for load operation with nuclear power generation and analyzing and evaluating it using a plant dynamic characteristic simulator and a cost simulator. The analysis revealed that the output adjustment when the thermal power plant was abolished can be replaced.
