[2A11] Average total kinetic energy of different fission modes studied by the 4D Langevin model
Keywords:Nuclear data, Nuclear fission, Langevin model, Kinetic energy, Fission mode
TKE (total kinetic energy) is experimentally known to decrease as the excitation energy increases. Fragments are classified as Super-long (SL) mode, having asymmetric mass distribution and small TKE, and Standard (ST) mode, having asymmetric mass distribution and large TKE. The reason for decreasing TKE has been interpreted that the fraction of SL mode increases with the excitation energy. But, in our studies based on the 4D-Langevin model, the decreasing TKE is caused by the changing shape of heavy fragments. In this study, the excitation energy dependence of TKE for SL and ST modes was calculated. It was found that the energy dependence of the TKE is dominated by that of the ST mode.
