Japan, the European Union, the United States, Russia, South Korea, China and India are collaborating to build a fusion reactor to prove the feasibility of fusion called ITER in southern France.
National Institute for Quantum Science and Technology (QST) is representing as a Japan's domestic agency for the ITER project by procuring components and dispatching staff member from Japan.
