[1A03] Machine learning analysis of piping dose rate and water chemistry parameters in Japanese BWRs

To develop a new water chemistry technique for reducing radioactive sources, the relationship between the piping dose rate and water chemistry parameters for Japanese BWRs was investigated. Machine learning was used to quantify the effect of each water chemistry parameter on the piping dose rate. The results suggested that the concentrations of the condensed filter Fe crud and the reactor water 54Mn crud, 60Co crud, and 131I are somehow related to the piping dose rate.
