The possibility of suppressing the corrosion of carbon steel in argon gas ultra-fine bubble water was investigated by an electrochemical method. As a result, the corrosion rate of carbon steel was suppressed for at least 24 hours in the environment exposed to the atmosphere. In addition, it was found that the suppression effect lasts for a longer time by purging the gas phase with argon gas.
