A column separation scheme using TEHDGA impregnated adsorbent was investigated to establish a technique for MA(III) separation and recovery from high-level radioactive liquid waste. The present study suggests that a more efficient separation scheme can be established using TEHDGA impregnated adsorbent with a nitric acid concentration of 2.8 M in the conditioning solution.
