[1N03] Visualization of Risk Associated with Evacuation of Residents during Nuclear Disaster
Keywords:Nuclear Disaster, Resident Evacuation Risk, Risk Triplet
Since the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident, the importance of knowledge and information obtained through probabilistic risk assessment has been recognized in order to improve the safety of nuclear power plants. However, the risk information currently available within the framework of PRA is mainly related to severe accidents at nuclear power plants and is considered to be disconnected from the risks that evacuees would perceive in the event of a nuclear disaster. This situation is considered to be one of the reasons for the failure of risk communication. In this study, we propose a framework for defining the risks that evacuees consider during a nuclear disaster and a risk triplet framework for visualizing these risks.
