In the regulatory standard for Mid-depth underground disposal, it is necessary to formulate a design with superior performance in controlling the migration of radioactive materials by comparing multiple design options of engineered barrier to achieve ALARA (as low as reasonably achivable). In this study, multiple design options of engineered barrier with different specifications were extracted and compared, and a series of studies to filter the better design was attempted.
