Our newly proposed "hybrid waste solidification" is a method to dispose of various wastes generated by the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (1F) and to enable safety assessment. In the project from FY2021 to FY2023, we have been working on the synthesis, leachability, irradiation behavior, microstructural analysis, first-principles calculations, fabrication of solidified products, and safety assessment. In this presentation, we will outline the results obtained so far, as well as the selection of materials for the hybrid solidified products and future prospects.
