Synchrotron radiation analysis of fuel debris generated by the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant needs to deal with samples that are phase-separated on a micron scale. In this study, we constructed a system for simultaneous measurement of XAFS, XRF and XRD using X-ray beam focused to about a micron.
