In order to develop an optimal decommissioning strategy, it is important to evaluate not only facility dismantling costs and waste treatment and disposal costs, but also management of maintenance of facilities, planning, development, and administration. The Fugen NPS is a stand-alone decommissioning facility, and the analysis of its performance can contribute to the optimization of the evaluation of decommissioning strategy.
