In the decommissioning work of the nuclear plant, a large amount of lead plate used as a shielding material for radiation is generated as waste. The work of disposing of the lead plate is very difficult because it is difficult to cut using a general tool. In this study, we devised a technique that combines mechanical cutting technique and low melting point alloy.We investigated the feeding method of Bi-Sn alloy to the lead plate in order to efficiently cut the lead plate using this method.
