This paper reports the results of demonstration test of Self-Actuated Shutdown System (SASS) in sodium and its thermal-hydraulic analysis. The test and analysis were carried out to evaluate the performance of SASS with respect to the temperature response characteristics, utilizing the test loop owned by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
