[2I12] Detection of Voids in Plastic Blocks by Scattered Gamma Rays
Keywords:radiation therapy, scattered gamma-rays, pinhole camera, imaging
In order to develop a void movement detection system utilizing scattered X-rays generated during radiotherapy, a beam of Co-60 gamma rays was injected into an acrylic block and the scattered x-rays was measured in the direction of 90 degree. The simulation calculations were carried out. As a result, it is expected to be possible to detect a void of about 1 cm.
