We are currently collecting soil and sediment samples in Yamagata Prefecture, measuring the radioactivity concentration in the samples using Ge semiconductor detectors, and cooperating with Yamagata Prefecture to investigate radioactive materials dispersed into the environment by the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.
