Further refinement of the CV-S method, which combines the controlled variates method and sensitivity , is underway. The uncertainty of the infinite multiplication factor in a fuel assembly system was evaluated using the sensitivity of the infinite multiplication factor in a fuel pin-cell system as a mock-up parameter. It was found that the uncertainty of the infinite multiplication factor in the fuel assembly system can be estimated efficiently even if the infinite multiplication factor of the pin-cell system without considering burnup effects is used.
