(13) Design for non-uniform experimental core configurations with structural materials

Experimental core configurations with nonuniform arrangements of concrete- and steel-based structural materials in the new STACY were studied. In this study, the composition of the mortar sample with aluminum cladding based on the prototype results was used to evaluate the effects on the k_eff values of the nonuniform core arrangements in the STACY core configurations with some of the experimental constraints such as the number of fuel elements.
